Herb was born in Kingsport and was a former resident of Bristol for 21 years, moving back to Kingsport in 2003. He has been with the firm since 2003 working as a Family Service Director and is a Pre-Need / After Care Counselor. He has been licensed in insurance for over 30 years. In 1953, Herb married Charlotte Smith and they have 4 children, 2 grandchildren and 2 great- grandchildren. They have been members of the Gunnings Baptist Church since 1972 having sung in the choir and teaching 3rd & 4th grade boys in Sunday school.
