Burless Lee Tester, 49, of Kingsport, passed away on Wednesday, February 10, 2010, at Holston Manor in Kingsport.
He was a lifelong resident of Sullivan County TN (Kingsport) and had served in the U.S. Army.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Robert and Mina Lawson Tester and his son, Stevie Tester.
Survivors include his wife, Tracy McMurray Tester; son, Robbie Tester; four grandchildren, Donavan Tester, Austyn Tester, Chloe Tester and Noah Tester; two sisters, Sabrina Brommer and husband, Daniel and Diana Shutts and husband, Chris; brother, Tony Tester and wife, Rhonda; special cousin, Larry Davenport and several nieces, nephews and cousins.
A memorial service will be held at a later time.
Carter-Trent Funeral Home, downtown Kingsport is serving the Tester family.

Burless was a wonderful man to know. Kind to everyone, helped with other residents at Holston Manor. I am fortunate to get to know him as a resident and a person. I will miss his smile.
