Vernon George Williams, 59, of Kingsport, passed away Monday, March 8, 2010 at Wellmont Holston Valley Medical Center.
Vernon graduated from Canajoharie High School in 1968 and from Suny Plattsburgh College in 1973 with BA/BS in Econ Major and Business Minor. He worked in sales, warehouse supervisor for Rubbermaid in Cortland, NY, and a manager of Temporary Personnel Agency.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Vernon E. and Hope M. Williams; one brother, Brian Michael Williams.
He is survived by his daughter, Dakotah Lin Williams of Jonesborough, TN; his son, Michael Vernon W. Glincka of New York; two sisters, Margaret Voth and Theresa Williams both of New York; two brothers, Keith Wayne Williams of Galesburg, IL, and Lane Allen Williams of New York; along with several nieces and nephews.
Arrangements will be announced at a later date.
Carter-Trent Funeral Home, downtown Kingsport is serving the Williams family.
