Virginia Castle Sexton, 84, of Kingsport, passed away Tuesday, March 9, 2010 at Wellmont Holston Valley Medical Center unexpectedly.
She was preceded in death by her husband, H.K. Sexton in 1971; one daughter, Diane Lewis; one son, Keener Wayne Sexton.
She is survived by her two daughters, Patricia Whitehead and Sandra Howell and husband, Ray both of Kingsport; three sons, Steve G. Sexton and wife, Ann, Dwight David Sexton and wife Darlene and Earl "Chris" Sexton and wife, Kate all of Kingsport; 20 grandchildren; 33 great grandchildren; special pet, Meme "Baby"; along with several nieces, nephews and cousins.
The family will receive friends 5-7 pm on Wednesday, March 10, 2010 at Carter-Trent Funeral Home, 520 Watauga Street, Kingsport.
Funeral will be private.
Carter-Trent Funeral Home, downtown Kingsport is serving the Sexton family.
